Toulouse

This is the city we called home for seven years. It is unique in France for its historical attitude (the counts of Toulouse remained independent from the crown of France for centuries) and its architecture: the buildings and houses are made of brick. It is known as "la ville rose" or the pink city. At sunset, there is a rose glow from this brick city, seen from above, and with the golden light of the midi of France.

  1. Hi Angela, I'm an Angela too, I live in Toulouse, and am about to start homeschooling my 3 lovely kiddies. I'm going to follow your story with interest and may even hound you for some advice ;-)

  2. Ange, hello! Thank you for stopping in and leaving a comment. I have been to your numerous blogs and greatly admired all of your inspiring projects.

It's too bad I am not in Toulouse anymore, another anglo-homeschooler, how cool that would have been, sigh. Maybe someday!

Ask away, if I can't help you, I'll send you to a few dozen other people who possess more wisdom than I.

    Cheers,

    Angela
